- Modified Proctoscope with built-in ulstrasound transducer, light and a special window
- Echo sounder
- A strong atraumatic needle
- Forceps
- Scissors
- Knot pusher
- Xylocaine jelly

Hemorrhoidal Arterial Ligation (H.A.L.) is an office procedure for the removal of hemorrhoids. This procedure can be performed in the office using a modified proctoscope in conjunction with an Echo Sounder.
